Our Privacy Policy

Mesa United Way respects the concerns of its donors that their personal information should be treated as confidential. Accordingly, the agency will neither sell, trade nor share any donor's personal information with any private person or entity, nor will it send donor mailings for or on behalf of other persons or organizations. This prohibition against the sharing of personal information, however, shall not restrict the agency from publishing categorized lists or public acknowledgment of donors and amounts given to United Way, provided that each donor so identified has given specific and written authorization to be so acknowledged.

Furthermore, no employee of Mesa United Way shall release for any unauthorized purpose agency business records of any kind, including (but not necessarily limited to) human resource information, personal information regarding prospective donors, campaigns or funding organizations. Release of confidential information to any party must be authorized by the president.
