Residents of Mesa enjoy a low cost of living, among well managed local government committed to smart planning for urban and suburban growth.   With the 202 Loop freeway completely open, Mesa now has a freeway in place that is a complete loop around the city.  It brings Mesa closer to other cities, as well as making Mesa one of the most conveniently located places to live in the metropolitan area.

In addition to easy freeway connections in every direction, Mesa residents also have access to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, which is poised to become an important base for regional air passengers.  Public transportation also connects Mesa to neighboring cities, with the new METRO light rail extending one mile into Mesa city limits.
