Gilbert Early College, A LEADing Edge Academy Helps a MUW Partner Agency

Students of Gilbert Early College, A LEADing Edge Academy spent a day at La Mesita in Mesa helping to prepare a new residence for a family.  La Mesita is a program that works under one of Mesa United Way's partner agencies, A New Leaf (formerly PREHAB of Arizona).  The kids cleaned up the playground as well as helped with painting, cleaning, and decorating the new residence.  The group of students then went onto spending time with the children of the residents in the Basic Needs Area of La Mesita doing fun activities.  Thank you Gilbert Early College students for LIVING UNITED.
