Mesa United Way in partnership with Mesa Schools is hosting a 3 mile walk around downtown Mesa March 26th, 2010. Mesa United Way's LIVE UNITEDTM Walk United registration begins at 7:00 a.m. and the walk will begin at 9:00 a.m.
Our second annual event is an opportunity for families to gather with neighbors, friends, co-workers and clients to make a valuable contribution to the community through Mesa United Way and our local schools.
There is no registration fee to walk. All participants - team captains as well as walkers on a team and individual walkers, are asked to raise money by collecting pledge donations. These donations will then be split between Mesa United Way's Community Care Fund and the school of YOUR choice. Mesa United Way's Community Care Fund provides financial support to a wide variety of essential human services throughout our community. This network of supported agencies and programs collectively help to improve Mesa's quality-of-life for everyone. No money raised will go to cover administrative expenses!! Mesa United Way's administrative expenses are covered 100% by our Cornerstone Companies.
